7/5 Tangiers Restaurant and Lounge (Silverlake, Los Angeles, CA)

Restaurant/Bar/Music venue. While checking out the band, Shattered Atom, T and I had dinner. She got some smal salad for $9 and I got a Lobster bisque for $7 and fries for $4. Everything else, save one or two dishes, sounded interesting. Slightly overpriced. I drank water and we had two baskets of bread.

Mimi’s Cafe (Los Feliz, Los Angeles, CA)

Country French. The bread here comes in three varieties and are super. Banana bread and rustic white. Since I had already eaten dinner earlier, I should have ordered either a milkshake or nothing at all. I made the mistake of ordering Mimi’s bread pudding while the others got real meals. The yellow sauce was just icky sweet and the bread pudding was a brick of teeth-rotting sweetness. I took it home but never gave it a second chance before i abandoned it in the trash the following week. I drank water.
